This whole Neymar transfer story makes me feel a bit unwell.

 

Its like when you get bored and open up the FM editor and give yourself bundles of cash to sign ridiculous players. But in real life.

 

I just can't get my head around the numbers. I think £220m is the number bouncing around currently. You can buy a moderately sized and established team for that. I don't mean a team of players. I mean an entire club.

 

I know it's annoying to click through and read the note screenshots, but this was an interesting/insightful read for me. The "why now?" section especially.

But for real though, I'd be able to respect him a tiny bit more if he would just come out and say, "This is a lot of money and that appeals to me." Because at least that would provide a reason that makes a lick of sense.

lmao Phil Jones has been banned for two games for being abusive towards a UEFA official after the Europa League final. Blind has been fined because he was late to a test after the final cause he was celebrating.

Apparently the delay was caused by taking the "A City United" photo relating to the attack. Both Jones and Blind wanted to be in the photo.

 

The tweet I saw said they both failed an anti-doping test but if that's the reason for Blind that's terrible

 

They did not fail. They both passed. Both provided blood and urine samples. UEFA official dragged them away from the photograph.
