I want to make that Orlando show, I just don't think it's happening with coming back into the state from NC. Tried to talk my wife into making a day at Disney out of it, but it just seems like too much of a risk that we wouldn't be back in time for the show.

 

Finally have time to give this a proper listen. I've only listened to The Gold a handful times.

 

I'd cry.

 

You might have genuinely pushed me over the edge to make it to the show.

I also need to decide if I'll buy the VIP package add-on. I've spent a lot of money on them in the last couple of weeks.

 

I started to rank the songs before I realized I love all of these songs and can't possibly rank them.

Ranking things is my life. This album broke me.

 

I love how we can legitimately debate that just about every single one of their albums is possibly their best. You don't get that from most bands.

I'm in. I've convinced the wife of a Disney day the day after and we can make it back to SWFL in time for me to work Wednesday evening. Disney hotel booked, and now I'm adventuring toward actually grabbing tickets to the show.

It helps that his album is resonating with me unlike any album in their discography, and I already enjoyed their discography a whole lot.

 

That main riff in The Gold has been stuck in my head in between every listen of this album today.

 

I'm enjoying this record a lot. I haven't had the ability to really dive in and encompass myself with the full story, but I've listened 5 or 6 times since I got my copies yesterday.

Hard to rank this. I tended to enjoy the more rocking songs on this record, but the entire damn thing is incredible. I haven't listened to anything else in days!

 

does A.V club have terrible taste in music? I saw that they gave menzingers a 5.0 as well. weird

 

I just want to know how you can listen to this album and ghee say the mix is bad. Obviously a lot of stuff in music is subjective but the production on this album is amazing. Where they listening to a bad leak or something?

 

Idk but they crapped on the menzingers too so IMO they don't have much credibility.

 

How many top 10 Manchester songs will ultimately come from this record? I'm going to boldly say 10 with the rest filling out their top 20

 

I have a 7 hour drive on Monday... whats the over/ under on how many times I go through the record?
