Hey! Can someone help me out on this, it's killing me. What was the remix track of Jesus Christ...that came as a b-side on one of their releases? Might've been a UK thing, idk. It was a remix of Jesus Christ...it had like...rain and violins in it....

I cant seem to find it online.

Edit- Wow! I found it. Apparently it's called "JC and me".

Well, I didnt even see the first video you quoted, looks like some random bro-dude doing a Brand New cover...cant blame ya. I just now watched it, it was bad...not enough passion.

And the second video you quoted is the b-side track I posted.....I never said it was anything amazing haha. I had just forgotten about it for the past 7 years.

 

Do you think Brand New had anything to do with it? It sounds too cheesy and cheaply done to be done by them,

 

It was a B-side literally on the CD version of TDAG I had forever ago....so no idea. I dont think they did the remix. But apparently they didnt have a problem with it either, since it was on there.

There's a part of me that likes the thunderstorm/rain effects while that intro rift is playing. The cheaply done violin keys are too overbearing imo though.

Ultimately, I think tampering with any song from this album is sacrilege haha.

It's the singer of Citizen. He's actually quite good. Well I like him. He's a huge BN fan and I also dig his cover of Tommy Gun.

Oh wow, no idea haha that was awhile ago. I want to say I bought it from Target(but I might be thinking that because....I bought a lot of some other rememorable albums there randomly.).

I also found the "JC and Me" track on last.fm (Brand New — JC and Me — Listen and discover music at Last.fm), but that's the only other place I found it. I might see if I can find where I put the album/CD, if I still have that one.

The only bonus track on the UK version of TDAG was the demo for Luca

 

I have to pick a song to present and analyze for Music Appreciation class and I'm thinking of doing Nobody Moves cuz then I can talk about dynamics. I think it might be in 3/4 timing, if I'm not mistaken, which is cool. Gonna have to double check that tho just to make sure.

 

I've had that for awhile and it's labeled "JC and Me (Fan Remix)". Pretty sure I got it off AP.net, but it wasn't ever on anything from the band.

With how well The Classic Crime's kickstarter went fully backed in 3 and a half hours. It got me thinking if Brand New did one of these for anything they might set a record for fastest project backed. I wonder what their goal amout would be and what the project would be. Interesting to think about.

Zack could be having a good day with his girlfriend and now is stalked by BrandNew fans. That's kinda creepy.

 

I had this thought when I first found out about his involvement with P!mt
