They are protected and I can't see them. What did it say? Is he reviewing it again?

He basically said he liked it a lot more than the last two records, said that on the last album it sounded like they were trying to sound like brand new and band of horses but failed but on this record they really nailed it lol whatever that means

I'm fine with bad reviews but I just disagree with every reason they said it's bad. The production is just out of this world for me.

The only way I can see 11 with MO is if you can’t Hope, EPs, and Nobody Sings Anymore?

maybe, but right after they said that, they mentioned those side projects in addition to MO, so lol idk.

Who counts eps! Haha but my guess was they were counting right away and bad books... either way I really disagreed with that review.. maybe bc the production specifically the vocal production is my favorite part of the album

Exactly. The layering of melodies is what makes a lot of these songs. The Maze is driven by the layering and it works so perfectly.

I don't think he is saying it was poor quality production, just that he didn't like the production.

Also, how does COPE sound like Band of Horses? lol

Also Andy's vocals here are actually pretty isolated. There is way less doubling on here than on cope which I'm pretty sure was doubled or tripled on the whole record lol

"There is nothing you keep, there is only your reflection" is my favorite so far

Such a cool line and it's a reference to maze lead.sd and the wolf

He's not even counting Bad Books or RAGC, because then he says "he also has side projects with Bad Books/RAGC..."

    I'm guessing he's counting the 3 or 4 EPs?

@Drew Beringer you said in your review the record felt like a 3 act movie

Act 1 - maze to lead

    Act 2- alien to grocery

    Act 3- wolf to silence?

Just curious how you view it

Yea, it's typically the type of song sonically I like but I was just lukewarm when they put it out. I loved gold and alien though. I'm honestly surprised because I thought most of the album was going to be like alien from the pre release talk. Either way it's awesome through my three listens. Can't wait to get the bundle today! Although the smoke variant looks amazing.
