Hasn't been for several days!

 

As a new father to a baby girl, the entire album resonates with me, but nothing more than the final lines of The Silence, and all of the Maze. Wept. Thank you for making another incredible album.

Any one catch the Alt Nation interview? Anything new?

 

Here I am on my flight home from Denver, wifi on, all excited to see this available shortly after 11p est, "added to library" confirmed... and then it skips The Maze and plays The Gold citing an "unknown error." Well #^%!!

wow @ the maze. haven't listened to this band in a long time, and haven't liked anything since METN, but this first song has me fucking excited.

 

The alien just really clicked with me..

 

I also liked the alien a lot more in context

 

Only one I don't really like yet is The Parts
I feel like it feels a little out of place without all the crazy layers like the rest of the album.

I do think this will end up being my favorite MO album, just because this is such a strong collection of songs that weave together incredibly well. I'm also feeling that this album will have tons of replayability. (Also because, while I like all their previous releases, none of them are all timers for me or anything.) I can see myself developing a connection with the whole record at some point - I'm already personally latching onto songs like the first three - but for now I can at least appreciate the detailed work they clearly put into it.

 

I already feel the magic fading.

 

That's why I love it so much, it's so different but still beautifully produced somehow. Love how loud the vocals are in the mix, sounds like it was recorded in a huge room

 

Damn, I've listened well over 20 times and I just keep liking it more and more

 

I love how it sounds as if Andy's vocals are feeding back towards the end. It's such an interesting sound, as if he backed off the microphone and let the room push his vocal forward. "The Parts" hit me so hard on first listen.

Glad I didn't spoil it with that live performance video.

He definitely backs off there and there is a lot more room noise

 

Now you can get busy enjoying it and dissecting it for what it really is.
