Music is a form of escape, though! I can listen to, enjoy and respect a ton more hip hop artists than I can relate to anything blink has released since I was in 8th grade

Different strokes I guess. Music is indeed a form of escape, and blink and many other rock bands do that for me a lot more than hip hop. Not to say I don't respect certain hip hop artists (Future, champ, so on) but it's just not my cup of tea anymore and hasn't been since high school. It may be an escape, but I want the passion and the emotion of the songs to hit me in some manner for me to like it. I respect hip hop, just isn't for me. Again unless I'm out at a bar or something where it fits the atmosphere, but at 30 that doesn't happen much anymore.

I don't understand the love the Untitled record gets. It's not bad, but it definitely drags in the middle. If you take out the goofy bits, including Degenerate, I think Dude Ranch is a far superior record.

    My two cents. Thank you.

It's basically tied for me. Comes down to mood really and I'm more in the mood for Untitled usually. And both Degenerate AND Voyeur are marks against Dude Ranch for me
