Love the Mirror's Edge beta. Pretty much exactly the game I was hoping for. The combat feels a lot better, especially with that hold the trigger combat maneuver dash thing, though I'm still going to only fight when I'm completely forced to. The only thing I don't like is the loading times if you die. I noticed that if you are doing a mission sometimes it will load in right away...If you can do it then, why not always?

 

Yeah, I think I escaped the place and just decided it wasn't for me.

 

I'm going to start going to Taco Bell everyday now.

 

I wish Taco Bell wasn't such a trip.

 

....not like I already haven't been.

 

I used to be huge on Taco Bell during high school years and I stopped.

My job is literally right next to Taco Bell so I've basically started going two times a week.

 

It's so bad for you and its lowest grade meat you can get. I wouldn't let my dog eat it.
That being said, that is really cool of them to have the Overwatch deals going on.

 

That low grade meat tastes so good.

and in video game related news I'm super close to getting 40 gods mastered which has me happy.

 

I think I'd love this game if I bought it on release, but the definitive edition on ps4 just feels so dated. Or I just suck at it. Probably a mixture of the two.

 

Dishonored didn't do much for me with it's original release either, something very conflicting with the art style and gameplay that was off putting for me.

 

Maybe I'm just terrible at it but the game is incredibly frustrating and has absurd load times.

 

Being able to see deleted posts is great. Shame on Dirty for deleting it.

Any ideas for a game that I should make? I have to make a game as a final project for a class of mine in Unity and it's a group project. Anyway, any suggestions as to what I should make?

well, i don't wanna tell you exactly what to do, but here are some of my favorite free Unity games that i think play to the strengths of the engine -

Little Party - your daughter is throwing an all-night creativity party and you're trying to understand how your relationship with her is changing.
Ananke - you just started a new job as a cleaning lady at a mysterious company and you can't help but snoop around a little bit.
Frail Shells - a game about learning how to come back home after a war, where your problems can't be solved with guns.
ICARUS.1 - you're a scavenger of wrecked ships, in it for the money but sometimes you find more than that on an empty ship.
Pictures of a Reasonably Documented Year - you found a computer and you're trying to piece together what happened to its owner over the past year.
Red Amazon - you find a gun.

basically, i think the best way I've seen Unity used is for short projects where the emphasis is on story and atmosphere over platforming or shooting. there are some really creative ideas that get put into action with it, maybe this'll help you get a creative start!
