21 people and no Jolteons?!

 

20 people is the max I'm pretty sure?

 

We maybe knocked a quarter of its health down. I caught the raid with 10 minutes left so I didnt even get through my second attempt.

 

He said "me and about 20 other people" so I said 21

 

Failed a Lugia raid early on today with my Slack group. We had 9 people and got it to literally a sliver of its health bar left. 2 people errored out (which seems to still be common in raids) and couldn't get back in with time to attack. I was pretty bummed.

But I did get my 3rd Articuno.

 

Okay this is way more promising.

 

I did one Articuno with I think 9 people today and we beat it. Then did an Articuno and then a Lugia with about 20 people each and beat those pretty easily. Time to start hoarding the rare candies.

 

Oh yeah it's 100% doable. We beat Articuno with multiple different mixes of teams of 9-10, levels ranging 23-36.

If we had had one more person show up making it 10 (Lugia's CP is about 5 or 6 thousand more than Articuno), I'd like to think I'd have both by now. Oh well, always tomorrow.

 

So articuno raids are here to stay now right?

 

I don't really understand why legendaries aren't able to be put in gyms. I have a Ponyta with higher stats than my Articuno.

 

Well, I used to see Tyrannitar raids quite often. It's been at least a week since the last. I'd imagine Lugia and Articuno will be abundant for a week or a few, and then with the release of new legendaries will become harder to find.

 

It sounds like Articuno is only here a little longer and then is probably gonna get cycled out with another legendary bird. Lugia I think is here to stay.

Also, just evolved my first Gyrados and it has bite and crunch FML

 

I'll never get it then :(

 

I didn't realize there was bonus spawns. I was wondering why there was so many rattata.

 

I have 1 Articuno and Lugia each but I want more because their moves suck. I want Moltres and Zapdos to hurry up too.

 

I just read that after this event period you'll need a legendary raid pass for the legendaries.

And what do we need to do for that? If they're anymore money than a regular pass, I'm good. You've made enough money already Niantic, not gonna feed the greed.

My city can barely gather enough players to win the legendary raids as it is. No way enough people will ever get together after this week and use a special pass.

 

Yeah yesterday I was at a restaurant and the Starbucks across was the articuno raid. There was a ton of people sitting in the parking lot but the majority were young children with their parents so who knows if they knew what they were doing. Like I said we only knocked off a quarter of it's health at most.

 

Introduce a 50km egg. Put Legendary mons in 50km eggs pls. Put rotated raid bosses in 25km eggs.

These things would help solo players.

 

So I just discovered my city's discord server. They have bots going that post times/locations of rare spawns as well as raids. Just left work to go try to get a Lapras but it ran after a few attempts :(

 

I would genuinely love a 50km egg for legendaries. Can imagine my joy when I hatch a Mew after a couple weeks of walking it! It's a shame Mew looks pretty weak from what people have uncovered from the game data
