For me, the stunner makes perfect sense. The cutter, there is clearly no real impact. The body take the damage and the head/face is protected. Something like a bulldog makes more sense given your logic.

A lot of times when this move is 'out of nowhere' the guy hit with it is taking the same exact bump whether the guy gets underneath him or not.

I just have a hard time suspending my disbelief on that one.

To be honest, I don't see a lot of difference between orton and nakamura besides nak can lean back very far while kneeling and he does a bunch of weird ass shimmy-shake moves while walking. Both dudes have worlds of talent, and both dudes wrestle boring, unmotivated, snoozefest matches.

 

My friend actually ended up showing me an episode of Keijo and while back and to be honest, it wasn't that bad.

Honestly, the only really good WWE match I've seen from him was his debut with Sami. I'm just glad I was able to see some NJPW matches before he jumped.

 

Nak, like Orton, needs to wrestle someone on their level or better in the ring for them to really shine IMO. They're not guys who care to carry those below them in matches. Granted, there are other reasons for them to not be at the top all the time, but I think that's the main one.

 

Nak phones it in. He's been given to mediocre feuds with Dolph and Corbin, so he really hasn't made an effort to bring his A game. Now put him up against AJ, I guarantee he'll be motivated.

His matches with Sami, Finn, Joe, and Roode were all good in NXT.

 

But like Ziggler is a phenomenal worker and it was his debut match on the main roster with almost all of the promotional material focused squarely on him. If he's gonna phone it in then, why should the average fan invest?

Also, the Balor, Roode, and all but one of the Joe matches were the worst NXT Title matches since Bo Dallas dropped it to Neville imo. I get that he used to tear it up but if he's not going to do that but once in a blue moon then I'd rather watch most other people.

 

*Quietly whispers* Ziggler hasn't been a good worker in a while either

But I get it. It drives me nuts that he phones it in, especially knowing how talented he is. And I disagree about the title matches in NXT, there were some very good matches in my opinion.

I really don't see how people think the Roode match was anything but great

 

Match 1 or 2? I enjoyed match 2 but 1 bored me quite thoroughly.
