Randy sucks and has always sucked

 

Randy Orton only uses like two more moves than Dean Ambrose.

i hope this finally ends the smark/IWC from blindly being all for orton and not cena.

 

What alternate world have you been living in where internet marks prefer Orton to Cena?!

 

You know things have hit rock bottom when you have to lean on a "surprise" return from Khali.

 

I think that's been over for a couple of years......

 

Granted, I've only been a returned watcher for two years, but the only cool thing I have seen Randy do is that RKO at WM31. And that was LITERALLY the first time I ever saw him wrestle.

 

I wish WWE had more of an open mind when it came to match building. If it isn't some grandiose match between AJ and Seth, we almost always get these cookie cutter matches in main events. Guys like Dean and Randy can put together the same exact matches for years on end and are praised for it. Even when Roman isn't going against a strong worker, you see the same shit from him every single time. I realize this is pretty deliberate, but guys like AJ are getting over on so much more than that. I think more hardcore fans are going to be akin to letting guys do what they're best at rather than the same shit over and over. It took all of this new blood (I'll say back to Punk) to get it out of Cena. He's spent years giving us the same shit, but when he sets up matches with guys that can go, we get gold.

tldr: let wrestlers wrestle. fuck Dean and Randy.

 

ehhh i dont know about that. Anytime Orton returns he comes out to a pretty big pop, only to fall back down to 'eh' territory. And i mean, the cena hate? That's only recently gone away (thank you Roman Reigns).

 

That might have been my first time seeing him wrestle as well. At least it is the first time I can remember.

 

Cena has been pretty well loved since the US title open challenge which was two and a half years ago

 

Orton has had flashes of greatness. The feud with Christian was amazing. Most recently his short stay in the Wyatt Family. He usually sucks but he is sometimes fantastic.

 

People chanting Cena sucks or singing John Cena sucks along to his music is basically the Kurt Angle you suck treatment

 

lol someone on reddit wrote up what I was saying last night.

During the Cena vs. Rusev match, the WWE violated many rules of the US Flag code.

Here is a link to the rules of the US Flag Code.

Some of the violations committed include the following:

1. The flag should never be drawn back or bunched up in any way.
2. The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way.
   
3. The flag should never be stepped on.
4. The flag should never touch anything beneath it (The biggest violation if you ask me).

I can understand the likes of Rusev, a Bulgarian upset with the US, to commit such acts of violation, however a great American such as John Cena himself should be held to a higher standard. How could he let this happen?

 

Orton when motivated is great. The problem is getting him to be motivated

 

well yeah, because he's been kept away from the main event... i could argue the lesnar beat down really helped.

i think have all contributed to the IWC relaxing on Cena. Perhaps I'm more referring to Cena still getting booed and the cena sucks chant (although at this point, it might be more endearing and on the same levl as "you suck" kurt angle)

 

Orton isn't over, his finisher is what is over

 

And how random his motivations seem. WWE title win at the biggest Wrestlemania of all time? Meh, house show mode. Match number three in a Christian feud that no one cared about in the summer on Smackdown? I will sacrifice my body for a match of the year candidate!

 

Cutters are terrible finishers, especially when used to catch someone mid-move. No idea how it implies damage in any way.

 

i dont fully blame orton though. he's been in the company for 15 years...he's literally done it all and is still relatively young. he's a good example of what happens when you push a real young guy to the moon in his first few years. Eventually he's going to grow unmotivated and there's not much else we can do with the guy.


Now with that said.. Orton has been hamstrung with Bray Wyatt and Jinder Mahal and a lot of Sheamus in the past 6 years so even with my theory, he's been crippled with some pretty shitty feuds.

Orton vs AJ or Orton vs Owens could've been great.

Wait, what? There are a lot of fake looking wrestling moves, but I don't think the one where you grab someone by the neck and force them to the ground against their will is one of them.
