Oh man, the beach was fun yesterday. So fun that i feel very rough this morning.

 

Last night, I got a call from a Baltimore City police officer. One of the technicians from my job was drunk and causing a ruckus, and they were going to arrest him. They wanted me to pick him up. They ended up sending him home in a cab. Must be nice to be white.

 

i wish i were joking but like odds are if you went there to pick him up somehow you would have ended up getting shot

 

i drank with some old friends last night and we talked a good bit about our childhoods - she was raised interfaith with a Jewish mother and a domineering fundamental Christian father, and I was raised in a very fundamental Christian household - and anyway i had some very vivid dreams about a cult and i am frequently reminded how much shit i still have to work out hahahaha
