I think if bell doesn't take like 10 with decent guarantees, you let him go and that's a lottt for a rb still.

 

Someone will give Bell 11-12 if the Steelers won't.

 

Ooooo, he'd be fun in San Francisco. Though I think it's extremely dumb to pay someone that much who cannot stay healthy, is in a notoriously fragile position, and isn't even the second best player when he's on the field. I'd give him 10 if he looked like last year.

 

I love bell, everyone does but he's had so many issues with staying healthy and with his position... it's just realllly tough to pay him more than 12m a year for that position.

 

Gives the Steelers room to give contracts to other players. Wonder if they'd tag him next year too.

 

I think he's worth being paid the highest RB salary, but his issues have held him back with staying on the field.

 

Yeah he is worth it. When he has played, maybe it's unfair to compare given he's young, but he averages the most yards per scrimmage of any running back ever.

Likely moving on to a different QB after this year, of at least soon. It'd be nice for whoever that is to get integrated with studs like Brown and Bell if we can.

 

I like the Steelers offer. I don't think Bell is making the right decision.

Stay on a contender and be far and away the highest paid player at your position? At some point how much do you expect to be guaranteed? It's just not realistic to miss 4-6 games a season and expect your team to just eat it if you miss even more time.

12 mill a year for a RB is a lot of money dude. Take yes for an answer and accept the validation of being one of the best and highest paid players on one of the most competitive teams.

 

Wonder how the David Johnson contract talks will go.
