The curveball Snell just struck out McCann with was pretty filthy.

 

There are the strikeouts I was expecting to see from Snell. Beautiful

 

I know it's the Twins, but Roark has 14 Ks through 6 innings.

 

What's his story?

Our base running has actually been pretty great this season too minus all the CS Elvis has received

 

Not like a tear jerking kind of story or anything. Just how he rocketed through the minors last season and had something like 46 or so initial innings of allowing no earned runs when he started at A ball. They basically said they had to keep advancing him to a level where he could experience some real pressure from hitters. Ended up with 15 wins, about a 1.5 ERA, a bonkers K/9 line, and won MiLB player of the year.

Gardy went yardy, and the Yankees get the walk off win. We needed that

 

Love Gardner. Glad they didn't trade him. Just need to get him enough rest so he doesn't wear down at the end.

 

Watching Gardner, Grandy, and Swish from the bleachers was some of the funnest baseball I ever watched. They were so much fun together.

 

Ellsbury's first year with Gardner and Ichiro was such a fun outfield to watch too.
