Almost any of the Mutant bands could've worked well. If they did that, they should also bump Knocked Loose to one of those stages. I know yesterday the Full Sail stage was incredibly crammed during their set and some other sets I saw on YouTube. Plus, they would've worked perfectly with the Mutant crowds.

While this is true, them being on full sail opens them up to play the monster stage next year!

Yeah this year it turning out to be a real bummer because of my job. The money is too good to turn away though, but mandatory overtime next week. Hoping to make it to Warped on Friday, but we just don't know yet.

  6. GWAR would have been a good fit for main since there was a large capacity of people who came mostly for GWAR.

    From their set in Holmdel.

In Massachusetts, they basically boxed the full sail stage in with all the merch tents. With how big KL's crowd was (and how violent and active), it was incredibly dangerous for anyone who needed to get out. Saw a few people who needed medical attention unable to get out and had to jump over the barricade to get it.

Today was really fun. I'm very exhausted, but another year worth all of that. I think there was maybe one or two conflicts but nothing too terrible. Biggest crowd of the day was easily Beartooth, I had to kinda push through the crowd to get out after two songs because it was so tightly packed.

I can't remember the setlist, but Knocked Loose had the vocalists from Movements, Boston Manor, and Counterparts join them for some songs. It was cool.

    What is Silvertooth?

Silverstein and Beartooth all get up on stage and play songs? :S

Yup, hour set. They did it on Warped 2015 if you want to dig up some video.

Yup, basically they just alternate songs. Silverstein plays a song, then Beartooth, and again, for an hour.

That's... weird... do they mix up members, or is it literally just one band goes up, does a song, leaves, then the other comes up does a song, leaves, and repeat? Seems like it would have a very odd flow, and not in a good way...

DAMN. Someone just violently shoved their way up into the Top 5 of my list.

Yeah, the band members feature on each others songs and they just have different members running in and off throughout the set so it flows better than it sounds

If there's nothing happening/it don't conflict with any of my top 5 i might try to catch this.

Watching the videos of Silvertooth it seems pretty... bad. And I love both bands

I was taking pics during that set and I knew it was crazy behind me but I had no idea it was that wild!

Meh yeah I never really got that into Silverstein and really, REALLY never got the big deal with Beartooth. Probably seen them 2 or 3 times and just don't get the appeal... they're not bad but I don't think they're very good or appealing at all.

The video above of them just made me wish '68 was on this year's tour instead lol.

I hope MN gets something else special other than this.

They can both write catchy melodies, but both hands tend to have extremely cliche and generic lyrics. Overall, I'd say Silverstein is a much better band. Much higher highs.

Not sure how many of you listen to the Punk News Podcast but they discussed at length the recent issues between Safer Scenes and The Dickies on their most recent podcast. Interesting to get an outside perspective from punk fans outside of the "Warped Tour" side of the scene. One of their hosts John, has some pretty cringeworthy opinions and clearly doesn't get it. Worth a listen.
