True dat. I actually just rolled my eyes through a conversation with a friend about how Harry Styles' involvement will apparently ruin it. Not a fan of 1D or him personally, but it baffles me how someone can come out with that tosh. That film does look huge.

 

From what I've heard he's actually really good in Dunkirk. Nolan loved him.

Was at a burger joint tonight and Jesse happened to be sitting next to me. Probably one of the nicest dudes I've ever met. Had a great chat!

The few times I've talked to him he's been incredibly humble and nice. Kudos!

 

I for one am glad you didn't ask. As much as it's killing me to know, reading about all these fans approaching him and his family to hassle him about the record...just like, stop.

Anyways, that's really cool!

 

Every time I come back to this thread, I'm genuinely impressed by the ability of this forum to talk for weeks at a time about anything that has even the most tenuous link to this band.

I was talking to a friend the other day about anticipating music and the more I thought about it, the more I feel like I'm glad Brand New doesn't share much.

Being a kid without access to the internet and social media, I actually anticipated finding out when my favorite bands were releasing new music. Now I can follow most of them and I have a general idea when something is coming. I know Brian Fallon is mixing, I know TDS is tracking, I know MO is almost here.

With Brand New I (we) knowing nothing. It keeps a bit of magic in the whole thing for me. It really builds the anticipation.

 

And even the stuff we think we know, we know that we may not actually know, you know?
