I don't think Dier will be sold.

 

Im going to feel sort of bad if/when Everton poach Gylfi and banish Swansea to the championship

I don't know why I still hold any hope of a genuine Chelsea youth prospect breaking into the first team. Watch them ship out Zouma on loan next and give Christensen 5 games and sell him in January.

They are shipping Zouma out on loan, no? To Stoke. They're signing him up with a new 5 year deal before he goes though.

 

Apparently so, yeah. I don't understand what spending £30million on Rudiger gives the team that Zouma doesn't. If he needs regular playing time after his injury then maybe, but every other team seems to be able to rotate their squads smartly to ease players back from injuries - most with less games/competitions than Chelsea to do so as well.

 

I am looking forward to watching Leicester City FC to make a comeback. They have managed to skip the relegation zone last season, I believe that they will be able to make it on top this season. Let's go Foxes!

 

I thought he broke into the first team before and did pretty well anyway. Seems odd to loan him out. It's not like he seems to lack quality.

Bakayoko is an odd bloke.

 

I though he was fantastic before he got injured, starting XI for sure. My ideal partnership going forward was him and Christensen but if they continue to play a 3 then idk, those two are both right-footed and David Luiz prefers being in the middle, so hopefully one of them will be ok at LCB.

 

Can we talk about BFG scoring what could almost be classed as an overhead kick (stretching it, but it was above MOST people's heads) yesterday.

Also, we got a penalty from a fake handball and Wenger said we should have rolled the ball back to them. Instead Welbeck smashed it into the bar. I admire the killer instinct if nothing else.

Hundreds of fans have gathered in Amsterdam today in support of Abdelhak Nouri & his family, including the entire Ajax first team. I think they gathered at his house, or family home - Nouri's father gave a speech thanking those who turned out. Really nice to see at such a sad time.

 

Ricardo Pereira is reportedly Tottenham's preferred replacement for Walker. That'd be a great signing. Especially if he only costs half of what we sold Walker for.
