except for when there actually is a new interview or something to talk about, it immediately gets drowned out by people posting song titles so we can't even discuss new stuff. hahaha. i shouldn't really complain, i have been doing this game the whole time, but i'd much rather be talking about stuff.

I've been on the biggest "Ugly Organ" kick the last couple weeks. Any brand new fans that havnt listened to that album by Cursive I can't recommend it enough

My first exposure to them was actually when they opened for brand new in 2012

Ugly Organ reminds me of a stronger, better written version of Deja and i love it so much

 

I think A Gentleman Caller is my favorite song on Ugly Organ. I love how creepy sounding the instrumentation is for the first half of the song but then it turns around to be the most beautiful moment on the album

 

The Recluse has recently become my favorite from the Ugly Organ buuut Art is Hard tho. Harold Weathervein also has that super cool dissonant riff

 

Staying Alive is an epic closer.

 

And all the more hard hitting for being so positive at the end of an incredibly bleak journey

 

I have burn cream on hand, don't worry.

 

Have you guys heard the new Kamikaze Girls album? It is really good and it gets me some Brand New vibe!
