I don't get how hating entire groups of people can be described as just "having a different view". I prefer Nintendo, someone else prefers XBox- yeah that's a different view. Being a fucking nazi? We absolutely can't normalize that

Okay... People should not post about gassing Jews (who were victims of the holocaust) nor should you post about beating up members of the LGBT community.

With that being said, It's still a shitty song with an awfully delivered, hypocritical message. Comments will be turned off on the video soon by Sumerian and the boys at Stray from the path can try again.

Musically I don't have much of a comment on this... but I'll jam it just for the"If you breed hate then expect hate" and "nazi punks f*** off" breakdown at the end.

On the other side ... a song about how nazi's are bad and they should get Captain America'd.

Smart internet person: I can recognize these as both being bad. Pat me on the back. Also, I'm very glad people are making horrific racist comments about the song. I don't appear mad at the comments or people the song is about tho, just I see two wrongs.

Over 100k views ... I think the idea that this is "backfiring" may need to be rethought.

And yes, the song is divisive against hate speech. That's the entire point .. to be ... against ... nazis.

it's not a very good song, just doesn't quite get the musical weight behind the RATM first half and then the transition to the better traditional hardcore second half is a little sloppy, but - controversial opinion - i would rather listen to this song every day for a million years if it meant we could get rid of nazis. thankfully, it's not an either/or if you do your part and fuck off

 

This song would be good if any other band besides Stray From The Path made it.

Seeing comments from people on YouTube saying how they're no longer fans of SFTP because of this song makes you realise just how dumb the alt-right are... How does someone listen to the band up until this point and not realise that they're really left wing?

 

I understand that the YouTube comment section is a cesspool, but I can't help but feel hopeless after reading that shit. Song shreds, btw.

 

I've tried to listen to this band for a while, but I wouldn't consider myself "really left wing". Then again, I can't really describe what a "left winger" is. I've seen people identity as "independent" or "moderate" and they had views that I, once ago, would classify as "left wing". Same with "right wingers", too.

 

the video is most likely being shared on alt-right friendly pages. Alt-righters get pissed off and start to hyperventilate when someone disagrees with them.
