Well, that answers my question. Lol and yeah Lester's throwing problems aren't too big a deal. Not like when Chuck Knoblauch all of a sudden forgot how to throw to first. Lol that 2-hopper to first from Lester last week was hilarious though.

 

Yeah I wish Torreyes would get a serious look. I had hope for Refsnyder til he took balls off his face two days in a row in spring training. Hopefully Mateo matures fast.

 

There is always Dante Bichette, Jr! Hahaha #bichettehappens.

btw watching Ellsbury steal home tonight was just lovely. Ballsy call but absolutely lovely.

 

Is anything gonna become of Bichette? I had high hopes but haven't heard his name in two years. Judge has had a good start in AAA which is a relief. But seeing how Bird did I trust them on Judge. If the prospects pan out, they could be a fun team soon. I wish Sanchez was here now, who cares if Romine is out of options. Ugh. And hopefully a certain free agent comes here after 2018... Haha.

2018 is going to have a ton of free agents, should be bonkers.

Bichette has been in AA but there hasn't been much chatter. Him and Mason Williams have kind of fallen off and I was high on Williams before we got Ellsbury. Judge is going to do well and I'm hoping Heathcott pulls through but I think that ship sailed. I was hoping Arod would retire after this year so it opens up the DH slot for McCann and Sanchez to rotate in. He's gonna rake when he gets the call up.

And I'm all about Greg Bird! He'll be our everyday next year as I don't see us retaining Tex.

Yeah I love Heathcott. I wish he would get a look too. Bird will do great at Yankee Stadium, no way they keep Teixeira. I would love a 3-4-5 of Harper, Bird and Judge in 2019 haha.

Honestly don't even mind that Mookie didn't get the cycle, because somehow, two triples in a game is almost more impressive.

 

The cycle is such a weird thing, cool to get but it sucks that you can get a single, double, 2 homers and it not be remembered at all.

It's amazing to me how he pulls a pitcher one pitch too late almost every single time.

Blake Snell debuting tomorrow for Tampa Bay.

 

The Yankees won!...for once.

Snell is probably gonna own us tomorrow, though.

 

Trying not to be too hyped about Snell's debut. But his story leading up to today is remarkable. Please be good for us, please be good for us, please be good for us.

 

I feel like the Yankees always suck against pitchers in their debut so I'm not hyped about today lol.
