Makeout have signed with Rise Records. Today they debuted their new video for the song “Crazy” and announced their new album The Good Life will be out on September 29th.

    I dig the hook.

  5. Oh shit that's going to shoot them right to the top. I just wish there wasn't some very slight mental illness shaming/very light misogyny in the chorus. Maybe I'm overthinking it but the lyrics just feel dated in a bad way.

Was gonna say that I'm sure this will go over well with the 5SOS crowd.

This just reminded me of the South Park episode where the parents just hear shit when they listen to their kids music. I'm officially old.

I could tell it was written by Feldmann the moment the hook kicked in. He truly is the master.

They used to be 'Trophy Wives' - a Four Year Strong rip off band. Hung out with these guys when they supported Goldfinger in London - really nice fellas and candid about what they're doing. Wish nothing but the best for them. Also, this hook has been stuck in my head since watching them at that show and at Slam Dunk.

The inevitability of that is one of the things I find most depressing.
