Mayne the idea of Jason making energetic music again is exciting?

The energy and everyone involved. This is kind of a fantasy band lineup

    Very RATM esque.

Jason has always showed a little ratm influence though so that isn't very surprising.

    Oh absolutely.

I'm very curious what direction this goes. This is very 68' esque which could be really really cool, or really really bad.

  8. yep it instantly reminded me of 68' due to the minimalist aspects, tho there may be more layers and background parts on the studio version.

I'll be listening, but I just don't think those clips seem nearly as promising as the comments made them seem before watching. I also don't really like the name The Fever.

Fellow letlive. fans and mourners, please, PLEASE give your take on this ethics behind this video. A fan jumps on stage and proceeds to briefly fight JAB, band is unfazed and Jason seems to enjoy fighting him. So, the human meatloaf that's probably clueless to letlive's messages(race, fascism, depression, hate, xenophobia, police brutality, love, respect, taking care of each other)jumps off and I think(rightfully)fucked by a security guy. Jason Aalon and the boys fight security. I've met Jason, gave him a ride on my back at Warped '13 Denver. I admire his DGAF spirit b/c I'm careful by nature, and think letlive. changed history. They're fucking unbelievable. My dad owns "If You're the Devil", he's 59 and doesn't care A BIT about our scene. But he connected w/ letlive. Anyways, I'm disappointed. Security can be fascist, I just filmed a popular video of Stick to Your Guns fighting security, but here in Denver ARGUS seems to do a great job. Fun people, they like interacting w/ the kids. But did Jason REALLY wanna fight this douche? I'm basically hXc as you get, but screw this. Thoughts on the letlive. video, PLEASE.

My views on that are that it happened years ago so who gives a fuck, they're not even a band anymore.

I'm continually disgusted at people who film from the front row of a gig.

Not that I agree or disagree with the person who posted the video, but this is a pretty nasty thing to say, like imagine saying it about any other questionable thing a band did.

Yeah I just re-read that, it came across worse than I intended (sorry for being a douche ConArdist), still it just seems incredibly irrelvant to me to be bringing something like that up at this point. My actual opinion on this is that it doesn't seem that bad to me, fan got in a scrap with the band, security did their job but too heavy handed, band disagreed with that and stepped in. Unless something worse happened after the footage, it seems to me that nothing too serious happened apart from a small scrap between everyone involved with all parties being in the wrong.

I think the thing that bothers me is Jason makes a point to say he's anti-violence, then does stuff that seems to contradict that. Do what you want, but when people look up to you for inspiration, a little consistency helps.

Edit: it's worth noting that i think inconsistency and influence was one of the things I remember Jason saying he was trying to talk about on If I'm The Devil, so it's not someting I would hold against him.

You must fix your heart Supporter

Watching the video it doesn't look like the guy on stage was trying to fight Jason at all, it just looks like he got up, sang a few lines with him and then jumped off.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

Yeah, doesn't look like they're fighting. And when the security guard takes the other kid down, Jason looks like he tries to pull the security guards shirt to at least relieve pressure on his back (security guard was a big dude) or get his attention to say that it was alright that the kid was onstage.

Not sure why this was such a hard pressing issue or why you're bringing this up now, but imo doesn't seem like there's really much harm done.

Edit: just watched the whole thing and looks like Jason was rustled by one of the security guards later on, but looks like the security guard was the one who was being over physical with Jason and Jason was passionately sticking up for the fan.
