You can follow certain missions too! I'm fairly certain OSIRIS-REx, New Horizons and Dawn have their own IGs. Their twitters are fantastic too. They respond as if it's actually the satellite/spacecraft talking haha. Also follow @astro_timpeak. He kinda took over IG duties for commander Scott Kelly when his year on the ISS ended.

Haha I read it before I saw it, was just joking since it was nominated for Best Comedy during award season.

"The Bubble Nebula, or NGC 7635, is created by a seething star 45 times more massive than our Sun. Gas on the star gets so hot that it escapes away into space as a "stellar wind" moving at over 4 million miles per hour. This outflow sweeps up the cold, interstellar gas in front of it, forming the outer edge of the bubble much like a snowplow piles up snow in front of it as it moves forward."

This is how a cluster of massive stars looks from The Hubble Space Telescope. So pretty.

You ask me about Gifs..where do you find this cool space stuff from?

Most of it is in my news feed on Facebook. I think the site might be showing me more stuff since I usually click those types of links, if that makes sense. Like it's catering to my interests? I usually see something decent once or twice a week.

Forgot to mention, if you've ever seen How the Universe Works on Science Channel, that helps with some stuff. I can't get through an episode without looking something up online and falling into a rabbit hole.

Good to hear someone else appreciates this stuff. I used to bump the meteor shower thread on AP and I felt like it was just me in there haha.

    Pretty much this.

The oldest fossils of cosmic dust ever discovered provide a glimpse into atmospheric conditions above the Earth more than 2.7 billion years ago and could do the same on other planets.

The fact that they were even able to find that speck of dust is impressive.

I can't get the tweet in your previous post to load @AelNire. Did it say how they found it? I'm guessing they were looking on a piece of meteorite?

I really want to go to space. That has to be number one on my bucket list and it's so unattainable haha.
