Geez, I don't even know this group to be honest. :embarrassed:
This type of genre is not my kind of jam. Oh well, I guess we all have different preferences.

Bangerz had a few good songs but was bad as a whole and was an embarrassing era. Like so bad that she may have put me off indefinitely lol

Catalyst is so bad. My friend kept mentioning how they had no one to go to the 20 years tour with so I decided to go with him so he didn't have to go alone cuz it seemed like he didn't want to go solo.

Anyway, they played Catalyst and NWAF and it was terrible. One of the longest sets of my life. I didn't even enjoy any of the songs I used to and it was hilarious watching meathead bros in the pit mosh to songs with lyrics like NFG's.

Jordan's voice got better as their music got worse, go figure hah

Don't care for them anymore though. The Tip of the Iceberg EP is pretty cool

  13. It's close, but 1980s was the best decade of Springsteen.

Born to Run is the best album, but how the hell can you beat The River, Nebraska, Born in the USA, and Tunnel of Love in a ten-year span?

I loved Coming Home for a minute back when it came out, but everything else is total trash. Actually I kind of fucked with that one covers album too.

I'm still amazed that NFG ended up being the ones in the late 90's early 00's to end up being a big influence on a new generation of bands. If you'd have told me that when they dropped the self titled back in 2000 I would've laughed in your face. I can definitely find merit in some of their work but it still amazes me that they ended up being the revered band from that generation.

As a huge fan of the first three Filter albums, "Where Do We Go From Here" is almost as strong as "Take A Picture" and should have seen similar success imo.

I love that "Take a Picture", a beautiful song for radio rock, is about him getting shitfaced on an airplane

In the line at Boston Calling someone behind me was saying they were looking forward to Cage the Elephant the most, and I was just sort of...confused. Especially with that lineup lol

    a literal succubitch

Cage the Elephant are a band I hold near and dear to my heart and for a long time they were my favorite band, ever since I heard their debut. That being said if you're going by their most recent full-length... Yeah, no, that album was such a letdown. The worst thing about it is that it isn't that bad, it's just not a Cage the Elephant record. It's Cage the Elephant playing blues-rock. Rather than Cage the Elephant playing Cage the Elephant. They had their own thing going for the first three albums and they ditched it almost entirely on the newest record where all the songs sounded very same-y, unlike ESPECIALLY Thank You, Happy Birthday, their second record where each song really had its own identity.

I could go on for hours about them but I'll spare y'all, lol.
