I'd cream. Kemba, Batum, MKG, Whiteside plus whatever we find for PF is nice. Cody would probably play backup C rather than the 4. Plus Lin and Lamb off the bench too.

stars get calls (or no-calls on pushoffs for instance), even Jordan would push off his defender in late game situations

from observation the refs always swallow their whistles at the end of games, and then the league will release a statement about said calls being fouls

just the way the NBA goes these days, im sure our teams have all been on the right and wrong side of it

 

I think that was pretty obvious if you were watching the game. They also said Beasley got fouled on the in-bounds that gave GSW the lead in the first place. So it balances out.

 

the one constant is the NBA is by far the hardest sport to officiate

 

Have you seen an NFL ref try and decide if something is a catch/if a player made an "athletic" move?

 

the NFL has issues on officiating what is/is not a catch, but i still say the NBA has worse officiating as a whole

just a personal opinion

I think so.

Only players under contract will be Kemba, MKG, Zeller, Hawes (ew), Frank, Lin (PO). Batum will probably cost a decent amount but with the cap rising we should have a good amount of cap to resign him and target Whiteside. I really don't think he is leaving Miami though. I'm actually scared we will offer Dwight a big deal.
