Eh, I don't think being new to this community is a valid excuse whatsoever. The importance of domestic abuse - and by extension, the importance of spreading awareness about it wherever possible - is really just a matter of common sense whether you joined this website ten minutes ago or ten years ago.

I also think that if someone decides to leave because of "excessively harsh" responses or whatever, that's pretty much on them. It would be most appropriate to examine one's own posts, figure out why you may have received such responses, and use that as a learning experience. I'm sure most if not all users here have made mistakes or voiced wrong/harmful takes on certain issues before, and personally I didn't learn by retreating from criticism, instead I decided I needed to become more educated about these topics and worked to do so.

I think this is the point where we all just agree to disagree on. I did not mean for my statements to come across as though I did not believe domestic abuse was important to discuss. Many of you believe that my statements did in fact come across that way. That is a point that we just won't see eye to eye on and that is ok. I have no ill will toward any of you. I understand how you may have felt that way.

Anyone happen to get a rip of The Moth when it was premiered? Tuned in just after it ended. Preview clip sounds good!

The Moth is probably the closest they come to that METN/Cope level of loudness with crunchy guitars although there is a moment elsewhere that is very rock n roll-ish. Great song

I think now I can safely say this band is an all timer. METN/ILAV have always been perfection but SM and Cope/Hope were a bit more disappointing. For whatever reason this new album has caused me to view those albums in a new light and I love them. NSA may be a bit less fully realized than the other 5 but it's still a good record and this new one could potentially usurp ILAV for me.

I know earlier I said this wouldn't be in my top 5 but honestly at this point it could be my favorite record of the year so far out of the 70+ records I've heard.

This album and these songs have made me appreciate andy as a vocalist even more than I did previously. Which is pretty crazy to think about.

    It's my mum's dodge caravan

I was lucky enough to see MO do an acoustic set in London a few weeks ago - was actually my first time seeing them - and it really singled out Andy's voice and how incredible it is. That show definitely gave me a greater appreciation for his vocal abilities, they really are some of the best I've ever heard.

I like all three of these better than anything on Cope so it's looking bright. Moth is pretty heavy. Not listening again though.

Felt so good to listen to the Gold right into the moth on Apple Music. I suggest listening to it that way for a first listen

Honestly that's a good move, the songs do sort of feel incomplete on their own.

The Moth and The Gold work decently on their own but The Alien is the confusing one as far as releasing as a single.
