No ones pissed at MO we just want surfer blood removed from the tour. Where was the moth announcement this morning?

 

This wouldn't stop me from going to any of the Texas dates, but, the best thing people can do is just not show up for their set. I am assuming they would probably play before Tigers Jaw and MO, so it would be easy to come 45 minutes later than normal. Also, keep messaging the guys in MO. Maybe with enough pressure, they'd make a change?

 

that's what we're trying to do! i don't blame manchester or any of the other bands at all for this (this issue has been swept under the rug way too much and i doubt they handpicked the band knowing the issues) but the best we can do is not have this band profit at all from sweeping their own abuse under the rug

 

Just skipping their set doesn't do anything. They are still getting your money for buying a ticket

 

There was another one of those FB videos with the phone numbers listed. I think someone on Reddit said they took it down, but I can confirm because I saw it myself. It had a still frame that said something like "The 7 10 17 Moth".

 

Maybe, maybe not. But we don't exactly have a lot of power in the situation, so we can only control what we can control. Those are a few ways to get the message across.

EDIT: Also not buying their merch. If MO doesn't take them off of those dates, the only way to impact their bottom line is to not spend a dime on any of their merch.

 

good to send tweets and emails to get the word out, hopefully this reaches the proper people and gets them removed. if not, dont buy their merch or dont even go to the show.

 

as an aside hoping they release The Moth in a couple days because thats one of the best songs on here

at this level that's pretty much worthless, always a chance but for a support band they've already signed a contract for it's not happening, these venues likely have allowed far more publicized crimes to go on their stages

i think you're overestimating how much money the lowest billed band makes on a tour like this, or any tour.

 

I'm not. They still get SOME money. I'm not over estimating anything.

 

I mean, it's a valid point. I think Teebs meant "why would he take guilty plea charge if he's not guilty" kinda thing. The people in that group are just kinda like "what does this have to do with Andy" and I get that, it's not Andys fault or anything but it's good to try and spread the word. Unfortunately most people probably won't care or will simply say there "isn't enough evidence" when there is

 

to be fair there are PLENTY of reasons why people take guilty pleas even if they aren't guilty, not taking into account the other details we know of this case
