Did you touch Andy's beard and why did it feel so awesome?

some of the songs start or end with what sounds like voices speaking over each other, like through a phone or something. i cant tell what any of them are saying. at least 5 of the songs have that. lyrically there seems to be some sort of story involving what sounds like something very surreal and fantasy like. there are 3 kids, an abandoned wife, an abandoned mine, possibly something divine, im not really sure honestly. ill have to listen again but they didnt send me any lyrics so there are some parts i just flat out cant understand whats being said haha

I'll see you again in 25 years Prestigious

Is there a song similar to Sleeper/I Can Feel A Hot One/After The Scripture?

Did you listen to all of it?! I should also mention The Renegade EP because it's so good

Yes quite a few. In terms of slower, piano/organ driven tracks that kinda build up musically. Generally speaking this album is much slower than Cope or METN or ILAV although there's a couple "rock" moments

Interesting...vocally, does Andy push himself into screaming/yelping territory? Or is it more power through harmony? I felt like Cope missed out on his vocal texture, so to speak. Lots of crunching guitars but no real moments where he really lets loose....

He doesn't go into screaming territory but he does have some slightly aggressive moments. For the most part it's him singing in his normal register and occasionally rising above it

For those of us who pre-ordered, are we supposed to get the album early? I thought I remember seeing we'd get the vinyl the week of July 24 (potentially getting it a day or 2 early?)

What do you like by the band?

This is the album that I think simple math should have been. A lot of the same elements with way better production and vocal performance

do you have a review stream of this too? just curious. i dont think the production or vocals are like, drastically better than anything theyve done although the drums sound much better than on Cope

The moth, lead, the wolf, the silence, and the grocery were my favorites. It will be a while before I can pick which songs I liked the most. The alien was my least favorite but I still like it

Their less aggressive, more melodic side mostly, but all their stuff is good
