I only buy digital lately. I'm not sure why.

 

I've been taking it slowish but I just have the goofiest smile on my face while I play Ratchet and Clank, I forgot how much I missed this series.

 

That's how I'm getting UC4 as well. Download speeds over wifi aren't the greatest on the ps4 tho :/

 

Can't wait to start playing Star Fox Zero tomorrow!

 

I'm so hot and cold on No Man's Sky. One day I'll think its worth getting the £70 pre-order as it looks amazing, the next I'm positive it'll be broken/ not deliver on everything it promises.

I really hope its great. I really, really do.

 

I'm waiting for reviews before I dip my toes in, just not sold on it being this polished experience that's promised.

 

As I've said before NMS is basically the first game I've seen that could really satisfy my sense of wonder. I've always wanted a game where I could just explore space and that's hitting all the right notes. Day one, if I have a playstation then hah

 

I've lost so much time to the PS4 port, felt natural playing it with a controller.

 

That's my first thought, but at the same time, there's a lot of gameplay out there and backing from major outlets. Ususally, those guys don't go out on a limb if theres a chance a product might not deliver.

I'm so conflicted.

 

So I downloaded Max Payne on my PS4 as it's probably my favourite game of all time. I'm a little disappointed though as it's not full screen, there are annoying black bars on both sides of the screen. I swear when I downloaded it on my old PS3, it was full screen....

 

I was tempted to get this, since it's a favorite of mine as well. But I think it's the PS2 version? Which is notorious for being shit, so I'll pass.



Need to finish Just Cause 3 before Uncharted. At least the campaign....need to knock a few games off this backlog.

 

Congrats! I started Challenge Mode last night. 2 things:

1)How many playthroughs did it take you?
2)How in the hell did you get past the Rilgar race under 1:35, dear jesus it's driving me crazy!

 

1) three, but mostly because I couldn't figure out what I didn't make dance.
2) lots of jumping and doing tricks to build the boost. It probably took 20 tries. lol

 

I love the Diablo 3 PS4 version, but it didn't simultaneously release on all platforms. They were able to take their time, and make sure it was a solid port. My concern with the console versions of Overwatch was that they would be more focused on the PC version. That's all. I'm sure Blizz will knock it out of the park though.

 

That's how I roll. The cases just take up a lot of space. Plus, digital sales are getting much better.

 

I relaunched my old music blog (it ran for three years) and am covering games and movies now as well, so if anybody wants to contribute in any manner to writing be it news, reviews, lists, features, unique series etc, just pm me.

 

I may write up a Quantum Break review, will see. Life is crazy as I said before, but I definitely think getting some thoughts on paper would be good for me.

 

I tried Dark souls. I'm not meant to play games like that. Back to the show

 

So, I kept hearing about Ratchet and Clank. I've never played the series, but everyone is raving about the new one for PS4. I just watched about 30 seconds of gameplay, and I'm 99.9% convinced I'm going to pick this up after work. Man, it looks fun.

 

They are definitely not for everyone. There is a pretty high learning curve.

 

I've never played any of them but from everything i've heard they are definitely not for me either, WAY too stressful and hard.

 

Yeah its a game/series I was always curious of so i got it on redbox. I'm gonna give it a shot this afternoon again but i'm just not good at it lol Some people make it look so effortless

 

So much stress. I played with my gf since she loves the game grumps channel. Both went to sleep angry and frustrated.

 

That's just practice. I don't think anyone starts the game and it's effortless. It's all about putting the time in to get the reward of understanding the mechanics. To me it's absolutely worth it for the payoff of how good you feel when you beat the bosses and just to explore those worlds and see all the enemy and location designs. Plus the story/lore is insanely good.

 

@lightning13 my friend told me about Standard on HS--If Dr. Boom is finally leaving, I think I might actually try out the new sets.
