Met this girl at a bar on Saturday and it was incredible! Me and her talked for hours, had several drinks, at one point she mentioned her face hurt from smiling so much!

Eventually last call came and we parted ways but she gave me this giant hug and told me that it was genuinely a pleasure to meet me and that we should do it again sometime.








I just went to text her and realized that we never swapped numbers or last names and I'm an idiot. This feels like the start of some cheesy rom-com but it'll probably just be nothing.

 

Go back to the bar, same time on another Saturday night. Sounds cheesy, but if she's in the same boat as you, it's bound to work. Worked for one of my best friends cos' he had something similar happen to him. :)

 

That's one of my plans, I had some friends at the bar too so I'm gonna see if anyone knows anything about her.

I've seen enough How I Met Your Mother, I think I could probably track her down eventually!

I went on a second date with a girl once and she text me as I was on my way and said some of her friends would be there and I was all "hey that's cool" and then they were on the other side of the bar so I grabbed a beer and went to their table and sat down and the first person she introduced me to was her ex-boyfriend she was working things out with.

I ignored her existence for the duration of her time there until she eventually just left with her ex and went to his place and I hung out with her friends because they bought me a beer and then I left and complained about what happened to a couple of my friends and I woke up the next morning on their bathroom floor by the toilet I apparently clogged in a drunken stupor the previous evening.

 

My ex from forever ago liked my photo on insta from a while back (dated this girl for two years). I guess it’s not weird to check up on exes on social media every now and then but I would never go and like a photo of theirs from a long time ago, seems strange. Got me thinking about her again though. I’d be down to talk to her over some coffee again, it’s been a while.
