Well that's because Mario is good and Yoshi is bad ;D

The PS4 version is the one I'm looking forward to the most but this is good news. Will still buy on all available platforms to support the franchise.

I really want to play the pixel art version on the 3DS so I hope that option will come to Switch too

The pixel art version is cool and the idea behind the 3DS version is kind of awesome but I'm just so excited to finally get a big, pretty console Dragon Quest for the first time since PS2. It'd be interesting to see the Switch get an edition based on the 3DS version/have a pixel art option but I assume it'll be based on the console version. If it's of the same quality and performance of the PS4 version I'd prefer it on Switch (always like my RPGs handheld, if possible) but there's no indication of when it's coming out in Japan, let alone a potential US release and although it's not exactly pushing the PS4's power to the max, it looks good enough that I think it's probably a safe assumption the PS4 version will be the better looking and/or playing one.

tl;dr it'd be cool if the Switch version was the one to get but I'm going to make the safe bet and assume I'm playing this game primarily on the PS4

I don't think the PS4 (and possibly Switch) version looks great. I don't like this stripped down HD look a lot of console JRPGs have these days (though I get why it is a thing). It's more shiny than handheld games, yeah, but at the same time often looks less ambitious to me. I'd probably rather play either of the 3DS options. In reality though I'll probably play both if the Switch and 3DS get different versions, haha.

I love the look of the PS4 version, can't wait to play that.

Honestly it really wasn't that hard to set up, all you need is that kit I posted, a hdmi cable and a USB keyboard and mouse, plus a controller (you can use a PS3/ps4/Xbox controller via their USB charge cables).

Then just follow the video or guide on the retropie first installation page. Took me about 30mins to set up. Then to get the games working you just need to put them in the right consoles folders.

You have to hook the thing up to a computer to install shit, right? Any idea if this works on Mac?

Yeah, I bought a kit like the one you posted. I also bought two SNES controllers that connect. I don't know if I have a USB keyboard, though.

Speaking of Dragon Quest, DQ5 should be on the SNES Mini

Just bought the Zelda dlc, stoked to try the master mode and challenges. On the downside I've just noticed a scratch on my switch :tear:

I'm loving Master Mode. It's so unfair haha but fun to play against skirmishes now.

Stealing opponent's weapons, actually running out of weapons. This is the difficulty I wish the original had.

After you beat Ganon, do all the lynels become silver ones? The only one I encountered before I beat it was in Zora's Domain. But now every one I see is silver.

I got too anxious having to wait a week for the Raspberry Pi so I bought a second one with two day shipping through a free trial of Amazon Prime. I am either going to build it for a friend's upcoming birthday or send the second one back.

I mean, it was one of the only titles you could buy for a while so that doesn't surprise me
