Wednesday are set to sign George Boyd from Burnley. Apparently he ran further than anyone in the Premier League last year so he certainly fits our run a lot mentality. From what I've seen of him he's a step technically from what Ross Wallace currently provides so I'll be very happy if we pull this off. We seem to have re-entered the Snodgrass race as well.

Looks like Lacazette is a done deal but Sanchez seems like he won't sign. I say he just have him play out the last year of the contract as his performances could be the £30m difference between CL football and EL football.

 

will be interesting to see what arsenal do with alexis, can see an argument for selling him and keeping him. his departure would be eased by the signings of laca and one of lemar/mahrez, but if you keep him and bin off europa maybe they can finally have a real go at the league.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see Mahrez come regardless of Sanchez. Either way, I'm quietly excited for the new team.

 

have a feeling mahrez is the backup option if monaco won't sell lemar. would rather the latter than the former, but monaco probably growing increasingly resistant to clubs trying to sign all their good players. arsenal need to sell a bunch of players too but that's not as exciting to talk about

It's OK. I hate the template and I hate that every single Nike team has the exact same template for home and away. It would drive me nutty if we were still with Nike.

 

Being a kit designer for Nike must be the easiest job in the world.

 

This new yank kit is definitely a purchase for me if I can swing it.
