How do you not tell people "it's not a good time right now, let me figure out moving out of my ex's house first"? Isn't that generally the decent thing to do in this scenario, especially if he's acting as a safety net while you wait to get paid at your new job?

On the West Coast I think they refer it to as Boba but fuck that, that's the name of the name of Bounty Hunter not a tapioca filled tea.

Real talk being in a long term committed relationship has taught me a lot. About myself, about how to care for somebody other than yourself, how to compromise, how to set aside your ego and not obsess about being right, about sharing your entire life with another person, and so much more. Before this my longest relationship lasted six months when I was 15, then at 18 and 19 I had a couple on again off again things that never lasted longer than a month or two at a time. A whole year is completely uncharted territory, especially when 10 of those months have been spent living together. It's been a ride and I'm not getting off anytime soon. Like, we are constantly planning our marriage and children and all our future plans together because we both are in this no matter what it takes. It hasn't been a completely smooth road obviously but we always end up coming out on the other side stronger and closer than we were before. It's just crazy to share my entire life with another person, I can totally see why some people don't want this, but I've found the one person that I truly want to be with forever.
