Btw: I had this really important candidacy thing for my phd today. I was really nervous. It is these moments I stick to blink. All the way in the subway and tram I was jamming Dude Ranch and it felt good.

It went really well then!

Besides Josie and Untitled (I didn't realize he was in Untitled too) is he on any other tracks that you know of? I remember last year he did an interview promoting UL acoustic album on this site or the old AP site and he said he did vocals on others but only remembered Josie.

I’ll have to go thru the record but he’s sprinkled thruout. Pretty much anywhere the harmonies kind of sound more like bad religion, that is Scott’s influence as far as I know

 

Too bad we never got a blink/UL tour after both bands got bigger. I would love to see UL again but they never seem to come to the East Coast anymore.

So after this bracket we have Cheshire and then the Champions Bracket. I have three ideas for the ending, want to hear some thoughts:

1. Run as is. Champions only, 8 Song matchup bracket.

2. Run a separate Runner Up Champions Bracket before the Champions match with all of the songs that lost in the final round for 'Runner Up Champion'

3. Incorporate the Runner Ups into the Champions Bracket for a 16 Song matchup instead of 8.

 

Both 1 and 2 don’t seem to affect each other so I say I’m good with those.

 

We saiyans don't believe in a second place. You lose, you are dead. But then again you can get wished back and try again, and option 2 could be fun. So I vote for that.

 

I don't know if you are a comedic genius or insane, but I love this account

 

Nah just do the songs that won. They won for a reason. Why complicate things more?

I'd suggest adding runner ups only because for example I'd rate pretty much any song on Untitled higher than any song on Cheshire or California

 

I side with winners only. Keep the second place songs separate

 

So no Runner Up bracket??

 

Incorporate runners up into the champions bracket.

 

If I do anything with the runner ups it's more likely option 2. Incorporating them into the Champions Bracket kind of defeats the purpose of the finals we held each album
