Brauns already cut a promo about wanting the title. He's specifically targeted Roman by wanting the title he had. To win the Ambulance Match and then let Roman face Brock would be 10x dumber than just having Braun lose.

I can see a non-finish and a triple threat or fatal four-way at Summerslam. But Roman isnt losing.

    • Brock Lesnar is the latest Raw star added to a SmackDown house show, as he’s set to face Baron Corbin on July 29 in Detroit.

Im sure its a location thing more than anything, but, if Corbin was gonna cash in...having a practice match with Brock for the feud would be a good house show thing to do.

Honestly, a Corbin cash in makes a lot of sense. What better way to get people to cheer Roman? People REALLY hate Corbin

I think that'd be a great way for me to give a shit about that main event.

I'm totally supportive of the briefcase being allowed for any belt.... also supportive of eliminating the brand split

you're underestimating how much people hate roman

corbin would get cheers, i have no doubt in my mind about that

I think it would be 60/40 in favor of Roman at least.

They'll be in Brooklyn and Corbin is a NXT guy. The heat for Roman is going to be insane to begin with. Add in beating Brock for the title now. That crowd would cheer Hornswoggle going over Roman

  9. I just think it'll be a Brock/Roman/Braun triple threat at SS honestly. Makes sense.

And Joe can feud with the winner while the losers have thier own thing (probably Roman/Joe, Braun/Brock)

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm all for Paul heyman joining with Joe. I think that's a really intriguing concept

Id rather Heyman join with someone who needs a talker. Roman would have been ideal a year or so back. Shinsuke or Corbin would be more interesting now.

Though if they want to push Joe to the moon, Im down with that

My ideal is Corbin cashes in and wins. There's uncertainty of what brand he is on; he goes to Smackdown initially, but they work out a trade where Corbin goes to RAW and someone big comes to Smackdown. Im thinking Joe or Braun, though I could also see Cass.

Corbins on RAW as champ and Kurt hates him (understandably); Smackdown gets someone good and new in return for a shake up.

im thinking to the moon with Joe. The next humongous monster heel... strike while the iron is hot is always my suggestion with wrestling.

but yes, if you want to use Heyman as a way to elevate a bad talker with low charisma, Corbin is the better option. But as a wrestling fan, i'd rather see Joe get pushed than Corbin lol so

Yeah, Im more thinking long-term. Corbins 32, been wrestling 5 years. Joe is 38 and I assume he put the attending doctor in the coquina clutch at birth. Probably could get 5+ years from Corbin versus like 2 from Joe.

Heyman/Joe could be a great transitional thing though. Until they find they guy they want to put Heyman with for the next 4-5 year run.

Pretty sure joe will be good at 40, he's still getting over and doesn't have to do any crazy flips anymore

Plus he can give A promo.

Sounds like the women's tourney might have its own belt. Not sure what for.

Hmmm; if its a trophy like the ARMBAR, cool I guess.

Otherwise, it'd have to be Asuka winning at Brooklyn and vacating for it to make any sense

If that's how they call up Asuka, it's a great way to do it and start the new division off interesting but I would think she loses and puts someone over. Vacating sounds cool but someone should get the rub, otherwise it kinda loses its purpose. No.1 contender belt? Haha

I think I read it that ember moon is getting another shot at takeover next month, I'm sure she could drop it then.

If that happens you'd think they'd start building it now, unless she stays up with the title and then drops it by the next takeover

the tournament needs to be a trophy and title...that's it. NO MORE BELTS.

Maybe Carmella can cash in on her

Honestly just have asuka vacate the title, bring her up to smackdown and kick everyones ass, win the title, defend it successfully a few times, and then like at mania have her go against charlotte or becky or more girls in a grueling match, and when asuka wins, have carmella attack her with the briefcase, cash in, and win the title. And have that be Asuka's first loss
