Anyone like the Pacers to win the series?

 

This Dallas-OKC game should be interesting. In Dallas tied up 1-1. Wish the Indiana-Toronto game wasn't on NBATV or wish they had a stream of it. And I think Golden State rolls Houston again despite it being in Houston and likely no Curry.

I still think KD resigns in OKC but would not be surprising if he makes the jump to WAS. I don't think he goes anywhere else

 

It's hard to get excited for Brooks, but I'll give him a fair shot -- just hate the process with Ernie behind the scenes. Not even a hint of a real search. A desperation hire to land KD. And the moron just shouldn't be employed anymore. Either way, Brooks is a big fan of Otto Porter apparently so yay!

I think this game decides the series. If they win tonight they'll win it, but if Toronto wins I think they'll keep control of the series.

First round needs to be best of five. Shit, I'd even go for best of three.

 

I agree. The NBA is probably the best sports league at making decisions that move things forward and progress the sport, but the decision to make the first round best of seven is up there as one of the questionable ones.

Nothing will top the new ball though, as far as bad decisions.

At least they owned up to the mistake with the new ball. Unfortunately, the playoffs are unlikely to change because of the loss of revenue. Although, I'm certain they could find ways to replace that money.

One idea I always liked was this one from Grantland: How to Fix the First Round of the NBA Playoffs

Basically it says to keep the best of seven series, unless a team goes 3-0. In which case, that team would advance.
