The Killshot/Marty the Moth match at the start of LU Season 3 was nuts. Honestly was a little disappointed by the later half of S2, but definitely enjoying the start of S3.

Asuka/Cross match was awesome. I think I enjoy Asuka in the way that everyone else seems to enjoy Nak. I think she's magic every time she's on screen.

 

I'm jonesing to watch this after work. Totally agree on Asuka, and I adore Cross. At the house show I went to a few months ago, Asuka/Cross/Moon were the only three that worked a match that was TV caliber, seemed like a "take it easy" night for everyone else.

 

WWE is running another house show in Albany in August. 4th house show in 6 months in the same market, whereas we used to get 1 or 2 shows a year max. The last 3 were all packed, so something changed and their draw has improved around here pretty tremendously.

Worth noting that, other than the NXT show, all three have been Smackdown shows.

 

My first NXT show was a house show in Concord, NC over a year ago and it was one of those nights for everyone on the card except for two matches. Austin Aries vs Andrade (wrestling under his real name) which was absolutely phenomenal, and American Alpha vs the best tag team in the world. Since that night, The Revival has been my favorite team. Fuck the bullet club

 

Fuck, I would've killed for an AA/Revival match. I was hoping for Revival/DIY, but Revival were kept in Florida for the b-string shows with Roderick Strong, so we got AoP/Roode vs. DIY/Nakamura which was the laziest match ever lol. It was also the weekend after Joe got called up, so he left a hole.

 

I've never believed that I'd see a title change hands in a house show, but that match had me thinking that the revival were gonna win the titles back that night several times. Of course, joe would beat finn like a few weeks later

 

Thought the Asuka/Nikki Cross match was great, but felt like the crowd was strangely subdued throughout most of it.

 

The crowd was burnt out. Last match they filmed at the taping

 

They should've had that match in Chicago rather than in a full sail taping

 

Yeah, if that match was at your average RAW, crowd would have gone nuts for the powerbomb and suplex spots.
