Yeah, this piece needs a good editor.

He has this line, "The standardized song titles — all of the songs except 'Lead, SD' start with 'The' — adds to the cinematic feel of the album.", but then goes on to refer to the opener as "A Maze" instead of "The Maze" 3 times.

I was wondering about that line. Figured it was a typo, but then thought maybe it kinda made sense.

That show. Holy shit.

Maybe I'm just in a good mood today, or maybe it's because the venue was so tiny, but that was maybe the best show I've ever seen out of them.

They played the two new singles, and closed with The Parts.

The show is over already? Seems early.

 

Yeah, Mercury Lounge is a pretty small venue (friends have played there - it's crazy than Manchester did a show there at this point in their career) that tends to do an early and a late show every night. Someone's on after them now. I'm guessing it was the only venue & time slot available on short notice or something - but idk, maybe they just wanted to play there again!

 

From the snippets I saw they were ROCKING it. The Gold sounded incredible. But the Alien didn't sound too great from the clip I heard. Maybe it was just the wrong part or audio

I do a combination of searching hashtags and location on Instagram and then look at people's stories that have made posts

 

I think this may be just about a perfect setlist
