That clip is "the maze" those three part vocal harmonies there are stunning.

There were these pictures in the rooms of what looked like would be the back of the album, no one was taking them so @ChiliTacos and I asked if we could keep one and we grabbed them.

I think you will really really like it. It sounds nothing like goodness onviously but it's super cohesive like that record is.

I'm super excited for this album. Seems like it's going to be a good fall record.

And nothing about the first two released tracks seems "overproduced" to me. It sounds amazing, and like it was produced very well.

I know you've only heard it once but how does it match up to the rest of the MO discography so far?

I'm not sure if my body can handle being full mast for an entire month.

I actually heard it two times! I feel like it could end up being my favorite but I'll say for now it's definitely better than cope and it will probably end up over simple math for me. It's their best sounding record by a pretty wide margin, excellent production

Yeah, they are so cool to their fans. I don't know if I ever shared this story or not, but this seems a fitting time to do so. Last summer when they were selling the deluxe fighting tigers shirt in the webstore (the baseball tee that had a monogram from Amy Hull on it) they sold out before I got paid and missed out. I emailed them asking if they were going to do more, or if it was limited edition only. Tim responds that day that it was limited edition, but they would be more than happy to custom make one for me. It would just take a while to get a shirt in, have Chris screen print it, have Amy monogram it and get it sent. Fast forward a month or so Tim gets back to me, says that Amy is going to be out of town for a while and that if I want the monogram I can wait or I can get it without it. I decide to wait. Fast forward another month. Tim gets back to me that something terrible has happened, Andy was taking my shirt to have Amy monogram it, but he dropped it in muddy rain water and "ruined the shirt" as consolation, he sends me a picture of Andy standing over the t-shirt looking sad.

I end up telling Tim that the fact that Andy dropped it in mud, is so funny that it added more value to the shirt and that if he was still cool sending it to me, I'd still take it. Tim responded telling me how awesome that is, thanked me for being such a huge fan and sent the shirt discounted cause of the mud stains (that came out in the wash).

Anyways long story short, I don't know of any other band that would go to those lengths just for one fan. I think I will always keep that shirt because of the story behind it. I would have killed to be at the listening party!

Really interesting to hear they were so overwhelmed at one point they had to turn down a tour from the Foo Fighters. Wow.

It's all volunteers at the doors for WXPN. Just walk past them and say you work there.

It has been an ongoing joke in here that a user named teebs was going to sneak a wire into the listening party last night and record the album and he was undercover and that he would get busted. I was playing off that by saying he attempts to sneak past security at this show and gets tackled and escorted away.
