i will say though... hmmmmmmmmm to Mike and Maria getting 1 minute of tv time in the past two weeks. I'm going to chalk it up to them wanting to finish this whole briefcase storyline first.

 

I sincerely wonder how old Julian is, I feel like it could explain a lot

The women's division on Smackdown may be the best booked division in the company. Naomi getting back-to-back legitimate wins on Lana, Carmella getting back-to-back MITB wins. They're not relying on the 50/50 nonsense much of the weekly TV falls into. I am excited at the prospect of Naomi/Carmella, a match I would never imagine caring about a year ago.

Pretty nuts that the main event for all three shows this week are a women's gauntlet match, women's ladder match, and a last woman standing match. Amazing how much more legitimate everything feels when you let women wrestlers just be wrestlers instead of patting yourself on the back for "making history".

 

KOs segment from last night...didnt realize next week is the anniversary of the Pie to the Face! Maybe the Fashion Files can solve the mystery!

I actually thought it was alright to give them a quick spot like that. Continues to build heat for being a couple that makes you groan whenever you see them interact with each other. It was also nice to get the tease for a probable upcoming feud with Sami. And like you said, they're bound to get more time going forward.

 

A feud with Sami makes no sense because with his latest personality, IRL he'd think their love is so beautiful and would already be planning his speech for when he officiates their vow renewal.

 

Looks like the Progressive Liberal guy story got picked up by the Washington Post as well. People are suggesting finisher names

 

KO remains an American Hero

 

If anything it's actually really fitting with how WWE books their faces to step in the way of a married couple. Roman Reigns ruined Rusev's wedding celebration. Dean Ambrose caused tension between Miz and Maryse. Now Sami interrupts Mike and Maria professing the greatest love of all.

That was in a long-term story where Maryse attacked Deans soon to be wife, and Miz threatened her too. Id call Dean's justified. The Roman one was weird.

The Sami one, I like to believe that when his music hits, he just runs through the curtain like the damn Kool-aid man, unaware of what might be out there, so I'd blame the backstage producer. Him apologizing was hilarious

 

I remember how Jeff Jarrett announced GFW years ago as something that will change wrestling forever, revolutionize the scene and all, I actually got excited lmao. Who would have thought it would be such a useless promotion with meaningless titles that got eaten up by TNA before it aired a single episode lol
