The Sunshine - love when they pull the guitars back and let Andy's voice shine. They're so good at that.

This captures their live energy in a way none of the other albums have, I think.

Oh that pull back on the wolf is so good, i wish I could make out more of the lyrics. This gets really heavy love it

 

Not sure if it's the free bourbon talking but thus just keeps getting better. The Wolf is amazing. The little electronic elements are a great touch. Andy sounds incredible.

 

Andys voice is just so solid on the mistake. Very different song for them but I really like it

 

Just be sure to compare The Silence to colly strings/river vs. leaky breaks vs. cope vs. elvis

 

I can't get over just how dynamic this record is. They know when to pull back, and then when to let it rip. The Mistake especially keeps sounding like it's going to rip and then they pull it back. The drums sound so fucking good.

 

If you guys had to do your best song to old song comparison to old Manchester, as difficult as it may be. How would you do it

 

what's going on in here, are some people at a listening party or something?

The "there is nothing you keep, there's only a reflection" line is going to be a favorite

 

Song to song is hard. Album to album this feels most like Simple Math to me, but not even close to the same.

It sounds like Manchester, for sure.

 

I don't want to spoil the closer too much, but I'll say it's an extremely satisfying conclusion to the album. Ya'll are gonna go nuts when you hear this.

 

Yeah it's so different, but it's definitely Manchester. Fans have nothing to worry about.

 

The maze is rally great too, what a great start to the record. They are playing it again haha
