Wishing Well. Will always have a soft spot for the album. It was the first blink release I was able to be a part of from announce to release date since I was 9 when Untitled dropped.

 

I don't. The album is very much his and I don't like it. I hate the way he sings. There are not a lot of memorable moments. His lyrics are pretty bad. That's not touching his actions at all. I hated Neighborhoods before all that stuff came out.

When they admitted there were issues with making the album and it was recorded separately it made total sense to me.

I miss Tom for sure but California >>>>>>neighbourhoods. I miss the banter on stage the most. But Skiba is the man so I'm good

Looking at the track list Neighborhoods is actually pretty solid, though I haven't listened in forever

 

The deluxe came out the same time as the original so I've always treated it as the only release. Snake Charmer, Fighting the Gravity, Even If She Falls are all technically bonus tracks.

Swap This Is Home for Even If She Falls and Neighborhoods isn't that bad of a 10-song album imo.

This was a tough decision. It came down to hearing that riff that Tom came up with way. before the album came out.

The After Midnight promotion was so cool. Stopping on "182" and getting the song. Wasn't there something similar with Hearts All Gone? Then the album came out and you could listen with people in your "neighborhood" or state. It was a fun time.

I agree. I miss Tom, but he was holding this band back creatively. It felt like Mark was finally able to be himself on California too. That was nice to hear. Plus, Skiba was the perfect fit for them.

Eventhough Dude Ranch is my favorite album, the Enema/MT&TS/TOYPAJ era is my favorite. I love that Blink so much. So many good ass memories around that time period for me.
