Right?! Been saying it since day one. It's like, "Talking Dead" made sense because talking rhymes with Walking and it was a play on the show's title. "Talking Saul" isn't a play on that show's title at all.

Chris Hardwick at one point said he suggested to the network that Better Talk Saul would be the perfect name, but they did't want to go with it.

I saw a funny comment online "Chuck is under the dumpster" haha. I don't think Gilligan and Gould would be as cheap as The Walking Dead

As we know from earlier episodes of the show is it possible that Chuck's death will not be considered suicide(even though we know it is)? It was brought up in his trial, it was brought up the first time he was admitted to the hospital in S1, and a couple of other times the dangers of using those "camping appliances" inside the house.

Jimmy saw in the finale that Chuck was "better" and it surprised him, Hamlin had already been to Chuck's in this better state, but no one outside of that had really seen Chuck in his environment like that. If the house fully burns down does that cover up the damage Chuck had done to the house(thus exposing his suicidal intentions)?

I watched all of Talking Saul afterwards, it annoys me that TWD is so much more popular and gets the weekly aftershow when I could never get tired of watching everyone involved with Saul. Talking Dead is the most pointless shit ever lol

S4 opens with Chuck sitting next to Erlich under a burned down palapa.

Just finished this yesterday. Very satisfied with the season, keeps telling a great story with a nice slow burn (no pun intended). Coming out of this season I really surprisingly enjoyed the Nacho Varga character. I thought he did an excellent job in his role especially in trying to protect his father from Hector.

I haven't seen the finale yet but saw this posed to actress who plays Kim. How many seasons until it runs up to him in Breaking Bad series timeline?

I'm wondering if it has to end with that specific end "goal". Couldn't this show survive if we see his life in Nebraska a little more?

I feel like we won't see anything during the year that BB takes place. Once they wrap up Kim and Nacho I think it should just jump to Nebraska.

I feel like it would just be trying to get BB fans that didn't latch on to this. Only way it could work for me is if it reflected more of what he did in addition to the Walt stuff at that time.

  15. I love this show, but other than the trial (peak of the show, probably) this season was a lot of nothing.

-More details of the cartel operation run by Hector and Gus are revealed and Nacho switches Hector's pills and likely causes him to become wheelchair-bound

-Mike and Gus meet for the first time and go into business together

-Jimmy's downward character arc accelerates as he both creates and uses the Saul persona for the first time and is suspended from law practice, causing him to have to resort to less-than-ethical means of making money

-Chuck plots his revenge against Jimmy but has the tables turned on him and commits suicide after hitting rock bottom

-Kim manages to successfully work as Mesa Verde's outside counsel but overworks herself and gets into a car accident, causing her to re-evaluate her life choices and whether she is on a path she is happy with

    Yup, lotttttttttttt of nothing.

So the first season of BCS took place in mid-2002. I believe in the finale Saul mentioned it was 2003. So in three seasons, we've covered about a year and we're still five years away from when BB starts. Maybe there's gonna be a time jump at some point?

Was thinking that myself, I think it's inevitable at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens between S3 and S4, honestly. Been thinking about how much juice the team thinks the show has left in it and I think we're going to get no more than 3 more seasons. I think 2 more is most likely, though.

Now that Chuck is out of the picture, I'm guessing Season 4 will be how Kim disappears from Jimmy's life (perhaps she moves away to pursue other career or falls in love with someone else) which between that and Chuck killing himself, will cause Jimmy to go full on Saul.

I think it'd be pretty cool if Season 4 is Kim exiting Jimmy's life and him going into full Saul mode then Season 5 (its final season) is life after BB (Gene). I don't think we really need to see any seasons worth of Breaking Bad era...we already got that for five years.

Also, I'm guessing Season 4 may not be until next summer or even fall now considering the renewal still isn't official.

I imagine AMC would try to push for a spring premiere again in order to meet the Emmy eligibility deadline.

for some reason it never really occurred to me that odenkirk would have have been so affected by playing jimmy knowing that he is slowly turning into saul and it be so taxing
