It's not even that I think it looks bad or anything. I'm just not even motivated enough to check out a trailer. I hope it's good. That character certainly deserves to be fleshed out with how clumsily the main game handled his reveal.

 

I honestly don't like DLC for single player games anyway. I realize that puts me in the "Old Man Yells At Cloud" category but I just prefer actually getting the whole game when I get the game. It makes perfect sense for multiplayer as multiplayer is played in an entirely different frequency for a single game, but in single player it just feels like..."I thought I was done with this already" hahaha.

 

Not that I won't get DLC for single player or try it or anything depending on the circumstance, I just don't enjoy that it's a thing.

 

Wasn't there one other person in here who was playing or played I Am Setsuna? Maybe @scott ? Wonder what they ended up thinking about it

I'd definitely still like to check it out at some point

 

I'm buying it for Switch because I need to have more than 1 game on Switch

 

I bought Setsuna on sale but haven't been in the mood for it yet.

I started I Am Setsuna on Switch and really was enjoying it! But then I just kept playing Zelda haha. Once I beat BOTW I'll go back to it.

Omg why am I just now finding this? It looks so simple and straight forward which is what I was going for. All the other collection and tracking sites were so annoying because they were integrated into full-fledged news sites and stuff (i.e. IGN, GiantBomb, GameFAQs, etc) but this looks perfect. Ughhh I'm happy but also frustrated haha.

 

This is why I wait until the GOTY edition goes on sale for seven bucks.

Got a little bit of Steam Wallet credit left from last Christmas that I'm hoping will get me what I'm looking for this go around, though last year was a bit underwhelming. I want PUBG (though I just read they don't plan on dropping the price at all) so I'll likely just pick that up if nothing else piques my interest. Now might be the time to install my new hard drive...

 

I was hoping for PUBG to go on sale, even though I knew deep down it wouldn't be hah. I'm not seeing too many good deals for me personally. Shadows of Mordor is $3 which isn't bad. I guess I'll grab Black Desert Online since I've been meaning to anyway and at $7.99 hard to not just give it a try even if I'm not going to buy those starter pack things.

 

Oh, good call on BDO. Been meaning to take a look at that, too, even though I briefly played very early on. Seems to have a pretty serious fanbase and without a subscription fee I'd be into the idea of picking it up for a few hours here and there to play an MMO that isn't FFXIV.

This looks like a rough example of TrueAchievements. I can't say enough good things about them.

Rich, the creator has also done TrueTrophies and TrueSteam.

TrueAchievements is his baby and that gets the most love and updates first but the other two are great as well. You can also link all the accounts so you don't have to jump between them all.

It's free to join but there is a Pro account for $10/year.

 

As usual I am overwhelmed by the Steam summer sale. What are the must get games this year? I have so far added Life Is Strange and Fallout New Vegas (which i somehow never played despite being a fan of the series) to my cart. Life Is Strange because it was cheaper than reupping my PSN sub when I barely play my PS4 anymore and not at all online.

 

Not much of a computer gamer besides strategy games. But i've wanted to try superhot. Would it be playable on a macbook? no external mouse or keyboard

That's a good idea. I'd like to be able to afford/find a Switch sometime by the end of the year. Think I may pick it up for that then too

 

PUBG isn't bad for the current price. The way the game is structured gives it quiet a lot of variability.

 

This is a top-ten all-time GameCube game. Everyone who hasn't played it should get this.

 

I really can't imagine it playing well with a trackpad. It should be fine with a controller though, if you have one to hook up to your laptop.

 

Transistor is $2.99 on Steam. If you don't own that game, BUY IT. Top five ever for me. Sooooooooo so so so GOOD.
