Music forum is the only forum I check regularly. Don't care for discussions in any other threads (save for the football thread).

 

I was just looking at Apple Music "Hot Tracks" and Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle" is number one on the list. Taylor Swift influence is crazy.

 

Haha, I was wondering how much their sales increased just because of that commercial.

Yeah, congrats @JulieLynn! I just got a 2016 Elentra. I've only had shitty used cars in the past, so it's quite liberating knowing I won't have to worry about my car for at least 10 years.

 

My first two cars were brand new. This one is a pre-owned 2014 Nissan Rogue, but it is in perfect condition. Got a great deal and discount because boyfriend works there. I cannot wait to pick it up in a day or so.

 

That's awesome. What happened to your first 2 cars? I got screwed over by a Saturn dealership right before they went under. My first one, a lady turned all the way from the far right lane, across the middle lane, into the leftmost lane in the rain and side swiped me off the road and totaled my car. The last one was just an old infiniti and the motor froze up after a year.

I never know what to say in music threads. Aside from like "Yes. I enjoy this band, also. Neat." which doesn't really add much to the conversation.

 

in 2007 I got into a really bad rollover accident with my first Saturn. My car saved my life. My Saturn I have now is just outdated and 9 years old with 128K miles on it. Its not going to last much longer so I'd rather some 16 year old kid get some use out of it for a bit. She runs fine but I think the Transmission is going to go soon and its going to need work.

Saturn has always been good to me. The Ion I have now has had about 5 recalls and I've had them all fixed. GM is a great company in general but Its time for something a little bit more dependable and my boyfriend works at Nissan so he knows the Rogue inside and out. Plus I wanted Bluetooth and better gas mileage. My car feels so outdated compared to the cars now. My Rogue is like a spaceship

 

Haha, I had the ion for 2 years, but when the dealership sold it to me, they gave us an outdated car fax report but said it was up to date. They showed us one from right before it got in an accident. The power steering stopped working almost immediately and then there were engine problems about a year and a half in. I loved it for the brief period it was working though. It was a coupe and actually looked decent.

 

I think I'll probably buy Mini's forever. Love my car so damn much. I'll definitely get the four door next time though.

I had a 97 Civic that I drove into the ground. In a way, I miss that car. But having a newer car is nice. I can do things like roll my window down and listen to the radio, and not feel like I'm in a damn hurricane every time I drive down the freeway.

I still really want a Scion XB though. I don't know why. I just do.

 

I've had a handful of cars, a pontiac vibe being the "nicest" one I owned but my absolute favorite car I've owned was a ford escort lx.

 

Awesome! I didn't love the album at first but it's grown to probably be my favorite this year. It's so perfect for summer weather. My friend saw him at Coachella and was sending videos, I was so jealous.

 

Someone recommended his song "Come Down" in the Hip hop thread and I've been obsessed ever since @TheWater(s) @Ainsley&MyWhetstone

Just don't try and buy his new album on vinyl at Sonic Boom Records in Seattle. It's on hold and they refuse to sell it!

 

Scheduling some last-minute summer classes so I can hopefully graduate next Spring. Taking an easier/fun load I think. Not a huge fan of online classes but I have all these electives to take so I might as well.

 

Just got a reaaaaaalllllly nice bonus check. Looks like I might be getting my next tattoos a lot sooner than expected.
