Mine is RE7, but I've just started playing Horizon Zero Dawn and it's already really impressed me so that could replace it.

 

I started Zelda and am not sold on it at all but I know it'll probably build up a lot more

 

P5 then Nier, followed by Horizon though admittedly I haven't finished any yet.

 

I was going to say Nier then I remembered Zelda came out. It's Zelda.

 

RE7 is absolutely wonderful and excellent and also not my kind of game at all

 

I'm literally blanking on if I played a game this year

 

Zelda was mine until I got deep enough into Nier. Resident Evil 7 is incredible so far but I still need to finish it. Persona 5 started to lose me a little but I intend to go back and finish it eventually.

 

Horizon followed by Persona. Will be able to get my hands on and make my way through Zelda before then year is over.

 

I said "the Nier plot just got crazy" about 50 times while playing Nier

 

NBA playgrounds is my game of the year because it's the only game I've played from this year

 

also this rocket league soundtrack seems like it got updated and it's so lit

 

I gotta play RE7, Persona 5, and NBA Playgrounds too. My wallet :,(

 

This year is too good for games

I'm gonna end up listing so many video games on the baby registry hoping someone's not paying attention

 

I kept hearing that Nier had a wild story and when I got ending A I was like, really underwhelmed.

Then I played for ending B and realized I was dumb.

 

Yeah it just keeps surprising you and it's also a delight to play through thanks to Platinum. Such an incredible game with so many interesting things happening.

 

Ending K is the best

 

I still need to beat Horizon and Yakuza 0 too. Too bad Crash Bandicoot's gonna come out and take up all my time, haha.

 

How does that even work? Do you have to replay the entire game to get a different ending?

 

I had to stop playing for like a half hour because I was laughing so hard after ending K

 

You play through the initial story as a second character for ending B and then after that you continue on from after those two endings.

 

Here's the gist of it:

There's a main plotline which ends at ending A. There are other endings you can encounter along the way if certain decisions are made. After ending A, you can load the game at that point to start at a different point of the plot, which also has different endings that can be reached by making certain decisions. And so on until the ending of the story as a whole.

 

There are five main endings, which you get through 3 different "playthroughs" of the game, all three of which are significantly different from each other in one way or another. There are another 21 joke endings that you can get from various ways in the game (killing NPCs, ignoring quest directions, non-essential stuff like that) which give you a quick text ending but you can continue from your last save instead of having to start again like Ending A/B/CDE

 

You play through the game once for ending A, which takes like 10 hours. Then you play through again as a different character for ending B, and his campaign is slightly shorter and very different mechanically. Then a different campaign unlocks for endings C and D, and you can get E by seeing both of those. F through Z are all joke endings that trigger because of weird conditions.

 

Ending K is no joke OKAY

 

Got my copy of watch dogs 2 today, absolutely loving this game. I can see myself logging alot of hours in.
