So is AJ taking the US title off KO at Battleground and then Sami taking it off AJ at Summerslam too much to ask for?

Saves AJ/Nakamura for Mania, and gives Sami a big moment before its too late and everyone has given up on him.

 

Nak/Styles staredown was epic, hope that match is high up on the WM card if it indeed happens there.

 

What was must-see from the PPV?

 

Men's MITB is about it

 

Oh my fucking god. I am soooooooooo fucking into this mike and Maria thing. Awesome theme song....this will generate great heat and.. did i mention great theme song.

Fashion files, carmellsworth with a briefcase, and now this.

 

Honestly I haven't had time to finish SSS16 but I'm more into that than anything WWE related lately aside from Takeover Chicago.

 

Yeah, I've been catching up on the last few PWG events this weekend and I really questioned why I bothered pausing one of them to watch MITB.

 

Just finished. Good ppv. Baron von raschke! Nice haha.

Women's mitb was fine. They kept things simple and it looked good. No issue with the ending. Carmella was the right chooce...although obviously I would've liked for her to still grab it in the end. Ellsworth dumps becky...grabs Carmella and gets her up the ladder and bam.

Usos new day solid match...obciously this feud is gonna last a bit longer. Makes total sense.

Lana vs naomi was a mess. Naomi not over plus lanas first match plus her SHITTY THEME SONG and that's what you get. Naomi wins, fine

Orton vs jinder....im just not into anything about this feud. I love the Singh brothers though. They're the big plus in all of this. Did I mention Baron Von Raschke!

Mike and Maria I marked out. The whole thing is a thumbs up.

Fashion police need a chant. God do I hate saying that but it's true. They need to give today's crowd something to chant and "breezango" don't roll off the tongue.

Main event obviously great. Predictable winner... but wow they did a great job jerking us around. I don't see corbin as a big time player so hopefully he doesn't cash in for a while.


Enjoyable ppv with a lot of variety. A lot of things I wanted to watch on this ppv for once. A solid B.

Just completely stunned at how tone-deaf WWE is. The only thing worse is the fact that I continually expect better than to have them book a male to win another women's event. Why even try to build up the division at this point when James Ellsworth grabs the briefcase?

 

A publicly traded company who actively aims their product towards children just reinforced every single thing wrong with equality for men and women. I don't care that Carmella is holding it, I don't care that it was to draw heat. They just told every little boy who watched that women always need help and every little girl who watched that they're not good enough to win things on their own.

 

Maybe my least favorite PPV of the year.

 

Can't wait to see what's next for DZ, guys

Corbin is maybe the worst guy on the smackdown roster, what's the point of giving him major heat if every time he picks up a mic he makes people look away? He makes Roman look like Tom hanks.

 

The Smackdown roster features Aiden English, Epico, Erick Rowan, Mojo, Primo, the Singh Bros, Sin Cara, and the Ascension but sure

 

Hey man, Aiden is good. The rest I'm with ya on.

 

The hate against Corbin is weird imo. He's maybe the last person I wanted to win that match other than maybe Nak, but that's not saying much when the other 4 guys are the 4 best on the show.

 

Probably cause they're trying to shove Corbin down our throats, they're just too embarrassed to admit it so it's been in and out with him in the spotlight. They made a mistake not letting him win the ic title from dean and seeing how they played out.

 

Can't stop laughing at this.

 

Corbin is a good heel, and him getting the briefcase gives him good heat and gives him a chance to improve on his mic work. I don't see the issue
