reckless abandon - real tough to choose. he was goddamned terrible at playing it live but the energy and how fast they played this song with tom was super dope.

stay together for the kids - a high point for blink-182's songwriting. first date is perfect bubblegum pop but stay together for the kids was... maybe? their most mature, thoughtful, quality lyricism to date

time to break up - neither is great, shut up has some decent moments, but time to break up's bratty, immature, super simple, bad lyrics are kind of endearing. i like the outro. plus the line, "shit, fuck i made a mistake"

online songs - online songs rips and give me one good reason is the worst non-joke song on the record by a considerable margin.

Reckless Abandon- This was tough T_T but I have to pick Reckless.

Stay Together For The Kids- No brainer. First Date is such a bubble gum song, but this one proved to many Blink could make semi-serious music.

Time To Break Up- This song was my anthem when my high school sweetheart and I broke up. Has to be it.

Online Songs- Very underrated and one of their best songs IMO ^_^

So, is all the SFTK love because First Date is overplayed at their shows?

 

I think it's a shame First Date is getting blown out, as I predict The Rock Show will as well. Yeah both are a bit cheesy, but man, they are catchy as anything. Perfect pop punk songs.

 

I like STFTK a little bit more than First Date, but I agree it gets a lot of hate. It's probably my 5th or 6th favorite song from TOYPAJ.
