Yeah, I kinda want that to happen. Trying to keep the spoilers in the other thread, so I'm gonna edit your post.

 

– WWE announced today the first four competitors for the Mae Young Classic. They are Toni Storm, NXT Superstars Lacey Evans and Sarah Logan, and lucha libre champion Princesa Sugehit.

Toni Storm: Toni Storm (21) is the first and reigning PROGRESS Women’s Champion in the United Kingdom. Already an eight-year veteran, Storm has carved out a reputation worldwide: Born in New Zealand, raised in Australia and based in the U.K., she wrestled in 13 countries before age 20, capturing championships along the way.

Lacey Evans: Evans joined the WWE Performance Center in April 2016. Prior to pursuing sports-entertainment, she served in the U.S. Marine Corps for five years, including time spent as military police and a member of the Special Reactions Team, which is the Marine equivalent of a SWAT Team.

Sarah Logan: Logan is an NXT competitor and recruit at the Performance Center. She began her in-ring career on the U.S. independent scene in 2011, and quickly gained notoriety for her rough-and-tumble fights. She refined her skills in Japan under former WWE Light Heavyweight Champion Taka Michinoku before signing with WWE in October 2016.

Princesa Sugehit: Princesa Sugehit, from Monterrey, brings 20 years’ experience to the Classic. Since turning professional in 1996, Sugehit has earned countless accolades while competing in her home country’s top organizations, CMLL and AAA.

 

Storm is winning it all

 

They must be pretty high on Lacey Evans. I feel like she's always on tv compared to the other women in her tier

 

She has a great story that is really relatable and is gorgeous. I hadn't seen enough of her wrestling to really make head or tails of it. I'd love to see her have a good run on NXT if she's got the chops.

 

Oh Toni. I honestly hope she gets a showing along the lines of Kota or ZSJ, in the sense that I hope she doesn't get signed. NXT's women's division is already about to be STACKED, and I dont want anyone to get lost in the shuffle.

 

I'm sure they also love her military background and she will be big at tribute to the troops and things like that. Good for her

Finally watched the 30 for 30 about the XFL last night, makes me wish I never got rid of my Memphis Maniax jersey and hat

 

I know this makes me awful but Cornette spewing hate speech at Russo will never not be one of my favorite forms of garbage entertainment.

EDIT: also, I've got bleacher seats for PROGRESS NYC so anyone wants to say hi or want a seat buddy I'm down. It's my first time for that promotion, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm also going to Takeover Brooklyn and I got cheap seats too if someone's going.
