The Ken Burns documentary on Netflix about The Roosevelts is quite good if anyone wants to binge something over the weekend and forgot about the world. (It's long but really good.)

 

I've been getting into it on social media with some undergrad friends in the polisci dept (first mistake, I know) about how them taking away healthcare for 24 million people is 24millions times more violent than what happened to scalise so I really don't give a shit about him and They called me a sociopath and I was basically done at that point.

 

Is that just a Missouri thing? Like "It only matters if White GOP congressmen have that happen but POC allover the state, ehhh"

One guy said as soon as the oppressed use violence against oppressors they become just as bad and i was like nooope. that's when i had to step away from my computer

So I just folded it up and held it at my side. But when it came time for the photo, I just asked the president, "Do you mind if I use the fan for the photo?" He said, "Absolutely go for it."
