Are these worth it/work?

 

The 120, to my knowledge, is fully manual. It's a bootleg SL-1200 (my table), which is a fully manual turntable.

 

My birthday was this weekend and I got a few presents:
Nirvana - Nevermind
Weezer - Blue Album
NOFX - The Decline

and I also have a $50 gift card to our best record store, so I will be hitting that up soon.

 

They're standard brushes, they're better than nothing, that's for sure.

it's a mofi version so it's worth it for the price. literally they remaster it just for the pressing for maximal sound quality

 

Yeah I own the mobile fidelity version of Pinkerton and it sounds incredible. Really want the 4xLP version, but mine sounds way too good to swap.

 

I have both the Mofi Blue, and the 4 LP Pinkerton set.

They're both incredible. I still need Green.

Been wanting the MGMT and DFA albums for years now but never found pressings at a good price or with anything unique about them

 

I am running an Audio-Technica LP120. I've had the internal pre-amp removed from that (in case anyone's curious the problems with it are discussed at length here)
Cartridge is a Nagaoka MP110 mounted to LPGear's headshell
I have a Technics 1200 factory rubber mat
Preamp is a Schiit Mani
That runs to Schiit's Headphone Amp - Magni2
Headphones are AudioTechnica ATH-M50x

When I'm listening on speakers the preamp runs to AudioEngine A2+'s

When ripping vinyl to the computer I use an ART USB Phono Plus
